The Engine Pro Sprints on Dirt Presented by ARP will return to the Plymouth Speedway in Plymouth, IN Saturday October 4. This event will the season finale for the Michigan based 360 sprint car sanctioning body and there is much to be decided at the “Playground of Power” during the World Series of Dirt.
The series is celebrating its 35th season of competition and is having one of the closest point’s battles for the championship in recent SOD history. Defending champion Dustin Daggett gained 15 points on current point’s leader Ryan Ruhl last Friday at Berlin Raceway making it a 12 point differential going into this Saturday’s action.
The last visit to Plymouth by the series in August was captured by Ruhl and it gave him his current points lead. Ruhl from Coldwater MI will be trying to capture his first point’s championship, while four time champion Daggett will be trying to be the first driver in the 35 year history of the series to win an unprecedented five championships.
Race day will begin with the pit area opening up at 2:00 PM; Hot laps at 5:00 PM and race time is 6:00.
